From the glossy pages of the new OXM Magazine it is rumored that Gearbox Software (not Bungie) is working on a super secret project. This super secret project is Halo 4. Bigger than anything they have worked on before. Gearbox’s President Randy Pitchford has stated previously to confirm this. Also, on Gearbox’s Job posting page it states that they are looking for a multiplayer gameplay programmer. Which would support the issue of them taking on Matchmaking.
Hopefully Gearbox has the capacity to take on a project like this. Since producing Halo PC. Yes, Halo PC is a good game. But, one question arises. Can they take on the caliber of making something better than Halo 2 and 3’s matchmaking system? You can bet if we get anymore wind of this you can find it here.
