We have just posted the trailer for the newly announced Call of Duty: Black Ops which appears to be set in the Vietnam era featuring some, then futuristic toys including a high tech SR-71 jet, a helicopter and what appears to be an astronaut in full attire in front of the SR-71.

The screens below give a glimpse into what Black Ops will be all about but from what we can tell it seems to be a blockbuster filled action game. What do the scientists in the lab have to do with Call of Duty? We are sure to find out as more details are soon to follow.

Also, from the looks of the scientist running and some of the character models it appears to be using the Infinity Ward developed Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2 engine.

I have to say I am excited about some prototype warfare in a Vietnam setting.

Call of Duty Black Ops will release on November 9th this year. That was all we knew since this morning's press release. Now we have seen the world premier trailer on GTTV and it shows what seems to be a Vietnam setting and some serious prototype weaponry.

Featured in the trailer is an astronaut in a space suit and what appears to be SR-71 Blackbird while the trailer also shows a high tech lab with scientists narrating.

Monkey Island is a game series that is pretty near and dear to my heart. Growing up on Adventure games like the MI series and other classic LucasArts titles such as Maniac Mansion makes me and many other appreciate these remakes even more.

Monkey Island Special Edition was a raving hit on XBLA, iPhone and PC when first released. Thank you all for downloading the game and spreading the word. All those positive vibes you spread over the twitterverse and the interwebs, calling for a Monkey Island 2 re-imagining will soon allow you to harvest to fruits of your labors.

The game will release later this year and feature commentary from the original creators of this classic title, Tim Schafer, Ron Gilbert and Dave Grossman coming to PC, PS3, iPhone and Xbox 360.
