Once upon a time Michael Pachter looked into his crystal ball and said: "There will be paid Call of Duty multiplayer (aspects) by Activision".
Turns out he was right, for once.
Today Activision revealed some details regarding the new multiplayer features build into Call of Duty Elite. Elite is a standalone service that is not requited for multiplayer but will 'enhance' the experience of playing Call of Duty online.
Elite will be a paid service to Call of Duty fanatics which will include features like social networking including deep clan and community integration as well as added competitive aspects as well as "in-game and real-world prizes will be rewarded to all skill levels".
Elite will also provide subscribers a way to track their stats even better and have 'personal coach'-esque features in order to improve your game.
'Regular' Call of Duty multiplayer modes will still exist as they do today but Call of Duty Elite will be a paid service. Specifics on how much this new Call of Duty service will cost have not been revealed but there will be a public beta available this summer, details here.

Leave it to 2k Games and Gearbox to make a trailer that puts the duke train in overdrive and consist of no gameplay what so ever. This video is hilarious and makes you want to have this game now! Duke Nukem Forever is gonna bring early bedtimes to many children this summer. I personally have been stoked for this game ever since Gearbox and 2k games took the helm. Every trailer I see is that much closer to a pre-order.

onPause has gained information that has pointed to Sony renaming the new handheld "NGP" to "PSVITA". These images are assumingly for the e3 2011 five hour marathon press conference. A blogger named Hugo Miramontes released these pictures of some press release images regarding the handheld. Since the release of the images the owner of the blog had taken them down.

As an author of things like news posts on a gaming blog, etc, I am glad that we can finally stop photoshopping Modern Warfare 3 Logos. Activision is keeping the hype machine rolling for MW3. Today the publisher revealed the official box art and logo for the upcoming sequel to Infinity Ward's last game.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is set to release on November 8th, 2011 on PS3, Xbox 360, PC and other platforms.

It's one of those games that are simply fun and satisfying. House of the Dead: OVERKILL - Extended Cut has been announced for the PS3 by Sega. The title will have PlayStation MOVE support.
The game will release in HD and with 3D support with all of the original content as well as two new scenarios. Extended Cut is due for release October 28, 2011, in Europe, and October 25 in the United States.
We will see more at E3 according to Sega. Get ready!

I am a very happy man right now, want to know why? Because DICE has revealed two brand new concept arts for the most anticipated game this year; Battlefield 3. These new images show off the characters you will be playing as in this next installment of the Call of Duty series. Check them out below.

Are you bored of multiplayer mode names as much as I am? Well, I have some good news, you can now get your 'Contractions' on when FEAR 3 ships later this year. Warner Brothers just released a new trailer for the supernatural shooter.
Warner Bros. has just sent over five brand new screenshots for the upcoming Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters. Normally I am not a fan of movie games (like most people,) but this one is actually not looking half bad. Check the images out below.

By this point Assassin's Creed has become one of the most renown franchises of this generation. Assassin's Creed Revelations is the fourth game and third in the Ezio trilogy, which will also wrap up the character's timeline.
In Assassin's Creed Revelations players will not only play as a more mature and experienced Ezio but also take charge of Altair as a playable character.
Ezio will have a "new arsenal of weapons and abilities including the hookblade, bomb crafting and a heightened Eagle Sense, you can kill with death-dealing proficiency" in Revelations as well as a new setting.
Revelations is taking place in during the third crusade in the "vibrant and exotic Constantinople, the jewel of the Ottoman Empire in the 16th Century" where Ezio will meet new fellow assassin's and future leaders such as "Yusuf Tazim, Prince Suleiman, destined to become one of the greatest monarchs in history, and Sofia Sorto, a simple woman who vies for Ezio’s heart".
