One of my favorite games back in the day on the Gamecube was Worms 3D. I would spend hours and hours grenading, slapping and snipping those little worms. Today's post is a special one because it has been revealed that Worms 3D, and Worms 4: Mayhem will be getting a PSN and XBLA remake called Worms: Ultimate Mayhem.

Worms: Ultimate Mayhem features all the content from the original two games, but also adds more single-player missions, puzzles, customization options, and worms.

Worms: Ultimate Mayhem will release later this year. Check the first HD screenshots out below.

Today Bethesda announced that some new content will be available for its parkour shooter, Brink, the DLC is called 'Agents of Change' and will be free for the first two weeks.

Agents of Change will release on August 3rd and be available on Xbox LIVE, PSN and Steam.

NAMCO BANDAI has just revealed their line-up of games that they will be shown off at this year's GamesCom. GamesCom 2011 kicks off August 18th and ends on the 21st in Cologne, Germany. NAMCO has nothing but great titles this year for all of us. The games that will be at GamesCom are Dark Souls, Ace Combat Assault Horizon, NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations and RIDGE RACER Unbounded.

RIDGE RACER UNBOUNDED takes the RIDGE RACER series in whole new direction by adding a punishing dose of destruction to the familiar arcade gameplay. Players will careen through the competition using their four-wheeled street-racing thoroughbreds as high-octane wrecking machines with a new mantra – Drive, Destroy, Dominate.

Sure, the ESPN application on Xbox LIVE is a nice tool for sports fans but in its first iteration it is still lacking in features. Today Microsoft revealed that an update will be coming to remedy some of those missing features.

Microsoft is adding lots of new goodies like 'My Sports' which adds favorites, allowing you to focus on your team, etc. Also notable is the 'Mini Guide' and the 'Split Screen' feature. These additions will let you quickly preview whats on as well as watch two games at the same time.

# My Sports – ESPN on Xbox LIVE now allows you to choose your favorite sports and teams and designate these channels as “My Sports,” so you can jump directly into the games and content you care most about. ESPN on Xbox LIVE will automatically provide you with a personalized daily feed of news and highlights based on “My Sports,” catching you up on only the teams and sports you care most about.

# Mini Guide – The Mini Guide gives you a preview and quick access to all the sports content you care about right at the bottom of the screen. Play the earlier highlights.

# Split Screen – Because true sports fans want to watch more than one game at a time, ESPN on Xbox LIVE is adding Split Screen, allowing you to watch two events at once. I know you have been waiting for the latest Black Ops DLC, Annihilation, to hit the PlayStation Network and Steam for a while now. Today the agony is over, go ahead and download the latest map pack now.

The maps included are:

* "Hangar 18," buried deep within the military black site Area 51, where gamers will battle through experimental weapons labs, the SR-71 test hangar and a mysterious autopsy room.

* "Drive-In," where players engage in close-quarters combat through a 1960s drive-in theater, complete with snack shack and a classic arcade.

Bethesda and id Software have clearly put a ton of effort into their upcoming title, RAGE, and they'd like us to know what the game is all about. Today Bethesda released a new developer diary from the 'Behind the Scenes' series.

RAGE will release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on October 4th.

This may be the most shocking and admitting price drop we have seen from any console. The Nintendo 3DS only launched a few months ago with some decent buzz but dismal sales numbers across the globe.

Nintendo finally reacted and admitted that the device is just too expensive for mainstream consumers which have been the prime market for the DS since it's original launch.

On August 12th the Nintendo 3DS will get a new price of 169.99 Dollars, down from 249.99. That is a huge and early price drop for a device that just released earlier this year.

Well, the era of remastered versions of great games has only just begun! We knew Capcom was making HD versions of the great Resident Evil 4 and CODE: Veronica X but when are they coming? Where will they be available and how much do I need to pay, dammit?!

Resident Evil 4 will be available to download starting September 20 and Resident Evil CODE: Veronica X will be available beginning September 27. Both Games are coming to PSN and Xbox LIVE for 20 Dollars.

The creators of 'Burn Zombie Burn!' are at it again. Doublesix has been hard at work at bringing us the next zombie game which will be available on PC via Steam, later this fall.

While the team is also working on a 360 and PS3 version, we have no word on that, yet.

Microsoft has revealed some exciting new accessories today that will be making their way to the Xbox 360 early November. The first one is a new Bluetooth enabled wireless headset that works on both the Xbox 360 and cellphones. The headset will sell for $59.99.

Second device that was revealed today is a new updated Media Remote that can be used to navigate the Xbox 360 dashboard, Netflix, DVDs and live TV if provided by your service provider. The remote will sell for $19.99.

Today Capcom revealed that the 'alternate universe' Dead Rising 2: Off The Record, featuring Frank West from the original will be releasing on October 11th.

The game will sport new features, psychos, combo weapons and vehicles. If you already own Dead Rising 2 and have a save game, you'll be able to wear 'Chuck Greene’s stylish Kadoya Jacket'.

Sure, we may not all have sung the highest praises on Splash Damage's First Person / Parkour title from earier this year but it is a decent game and especially if we are considering a small asking price.

Today, the Amazon Deal of the Day is all three versions of BRINK. The title will run you 20 bucks on PC, Xbox 360 or PS3.

DRIVER San Francisco will not only bring back the series that was so untactful to many gamers in the 90s, Ubisoft will also introduce a new mechanic called 'Shift'.

While moving from car to car with the push of a button and zooming across town with fly through camera before selecting a new form of transportation seems a bit unorthodox, we will let the development team explain the feature.

Driver will be on shelves August 30th.

It's time to bring your Kinect out of retirement! Microsoft has just made Avatart Kinect available for download in the Kinect Fun Labs area. If you don't know what Avatar Kinect is; it's basically a virtual hangout room for you and your friends. You use your Kinect to chat with your friends and any movement you do the Avatar does.

It has been reported that Turtle Beach and Activison have teamed up to make a Modern Warfare 3 Bundle that includes a Turtle Beach Headset. Zavvi.com has lifted the veil on the offering several headset with game bundles for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Next thing on everyone's mind is the wallet cringing question; 'How much for this Headset bundle'? Well, It just depends on how deep you want to get into it. There are three bundles. The First being Foxtrot converted from Euro to approximately $144.00. The next is Bravo which is listed at 169.85 Euro. Which converts to approximately $245.00. After that is the top tier Delta listed at 249.85 Euro that converts to $360.00. It can be assumed that the sticker shock to our shores is going to be a big issue and it may be adjusted. We can see the trend of most limited edition bundles and that may reflect on the current market. With the quality of Turtle Beach's Headsets it may not be much.

The differences in the packages seem like they have better headsets going from Foxtrot that is wired to the Delta bundle that is wireless. All bundles include limited edition content from Activision. The headsets look the same in every bundle with all the labels and insignia's of the Call of Duty Franchise. Bravo and Delta have come with the handy case as seen in the pictures below. They also have custom MW3 presets and the Delta bundle has MW3 voice prompts. Menu control maybe? This looks very interesting and I cant wait to see these packages in action.

Namco Bandai has just sent over a massive amount of screenshots along with a new gameplay trailer today for SOULCALIBUR V. The images and video feature the characters of the game kicking a lot of butt. Check it all out below.
