EA confirmed that the much anticipated Insomniac shooter Fuse has been delayed to the second quarter of 2013. This news came during the third financial quarter conference call that took place today. While originally planned for a March release, EA has said it will come out during their Q1 of fiscal year 2014. This puts the game at being released between April and June. EA COO Peter Moore said they are delaying the game to give Insomniac more time to polish Fuse.
Announced at E3 2011, the new Insomniac game is a four person co-op shooter that is set in the future. The game will focus heavily on cover-based combat. The game will ship for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360, making it the first Insomniac game to feature for a Microsoft console.
