Since the Wii U was announced by Nintendo, fans have been eager to get a glimpse at the newest Zelda game. This morning it was announced that the popular Zelda game for the Gamecube would be getting a HD remake for the Wii U. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD will be a way for Zelda fans to see how their beloved series will look on a HD console. The original Wind Waker sold 4.6 million units worldwide.
It was also revealed this morning that there is a new Zelda game in the works, but it is taking too long to finish. Wind Waker HD is supposed to keep Zelda fans happy until the next game is released on the Wii U. A release date for Wind Waker HD was not announced, but expect it to be on store shelves this year.
