The Android based gaming console Ouya is available to pre-order on Amazon, Gamestop, Target, and Best Buy starting today. Consumers can pre-order a console and controller bundle for $99, and extra controllers for $49 each. The launch date of the Ouya is June of 2013, but consoles that are pre-ordered through these websites will ship in April. For the people who donated to the Kickstarter, they will still receive their consoles in March.
It was recently announced that Square Enix would partner with Ouya to bring some games to the console, including Final Fantasy 3. Ouya has also partnered with OnLive recently to bring the video streaming service to the Ouya, expanding the console’s library of games.
