If the rumor mill is once again right in reporting on speculation based on leaked marketing materials, then we may know what the next Assassin’s Creed game is all about – pirates!
During an earnings call Ubisoft had confirmed a new Assassin’s Creed game with a new protagonist and setting, it appears we get a first glimpse at this new title today with a leaked image of promotional materials that are supposed to go up in store walls on March 4th, is this the announcement date according to Kotaku’s tipster?
The game is titled Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and the image on the poster shows the supposed hero as well as some pirates on a ship with a black pirate flag in the background. Make of it what you will, but we will soon know if this was a spoof or real.
