It is Friday, and there is no better way to spend the weekend than playing a new release, or continuing a game that you’ve been playing for a while. Either way, it is time for Weekend Gaming.

New Releases

Resident Evil Revelations (Xbox 360, PS3, WiiU, PC) – The 3DS port of Revelations was released this week, and it has been getting good reviews. You take control of Resident Evil legends Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. The player must take back the cruise ship Queen Zenobia before realizing the zombie outbreak is bigger than thought.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger (XBLA, PSN, PC) – Techland has been releasing a bunch of games recently. Their latest, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, transports gamers back to the wild west that was filled with gun fights, horses, and more gun fights. A lot of reviewers have been pleasantly surprised with Gunslinger, and for $15 it looks to be a good game to just spend mindless hours messing around in the wild west.

Brandon’s Weekend Gaming

Tomb Raider – What a surprise, I am playing a game that has been our for a while now. I haven’t played any of Tomb Raider yet, but I am really excited about it. I love third person action games, so I can’t wait to run around an ancient island with Lara.

Kerbal Space Program – While this is no surprise, there is a big reason why I am going to play some Kerbal this weekend. The .20 update was released on Wednesday. The update added a feature I have been waiting a long time for: flag planting! I can’t wait to go around the Kerbal universe planting flags everywhere.

Resident Evil Revelations – This weekend I will spend a good amount of time on Capcom’s Resident Evil Revelations which I already spent quite a lot of time with at a preview event and was left with good impressions. The port to HD consoles from the 3DS version has been upres’d and also received some new features to make this a full living room experience.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger – Another game I will be running through its paces is Techland’s latest Call of Juarez entry which is a downloadable title called Gunslinger which should be fun based on the developer’s pedigree even though ‘The Cartel’ was less than stellar!
