The popular space sandbox game has a new update available. Squad has announced that the 0.21 update for their game Kerbal Space Program is now available to download through the game’s website, or through Steam.
To prepare for the upcoming career mode being added to the game, this new update allows you to hire and assign specific astronauts on your missions. While it is still in its basic form now, in future updates you’ll be able to train astronauts to make them better pilots.
The game has also received an overhaul in how it looks, with the Kerbal Space Center getting a big makeover. The Mun has also received attention in this new update, with procedurally generated craters, making the terrain more difficult to land on. Kerbin has also received a little makeover, with mountains and hills littering the landscape to add some diversity.
You can read about all of the changes to the game here. Squad has also released another humorous video featuring Kerbals and the “selection process” they go through to become an astronaut. Check out the video below!
