Posted by: 7/12/2013

Here we are, day two of the Steam summer sale. Do you still have money in your wallet? If so, here is what we recommend for the daily deals for day two, along with our top picks for the under $10 and under $5 categories.

TWD Episode 4

Daily Deals

The Walking Dead (-75% $6.24) If you have yet to play this masterpiece, now is the time to do it. With the DLC 400 Days just released for $5, you can get all of The Walking Dead for less than $12. For what is one of the best games of 2012, that is a steal.

Fez (-50% $4.99) – Fez is an excellent platforming game that includes some incredible puzzles. It was released for the PC back in March, and is an excellent port. Fez offers hours of great gameplay that is well worth the price of a sandwich.

Just Cause 2 (-80% $2.99) – This is another deal that is almost too good. While it was released a few years ago, it is still one of the best sandbox games on the market. Plus in one week the next public beta for the multiplayer mod takes place, which is loads of fun.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare (-75% $6.24) – This Kickstarter game has become incredibly popular with online multiplayer aficionados. It is a first-person hack-and-slash game that features objective based battles. It is gory, just as you would imagine given the name is Medieval Warfare.

Flash Sale Surprise!

XCOM: Enemy Unknown (-75% $9.99) – As of writing this, there is seven hours remaining on this deal. XCOM: Enemy Unknown is a must have for any person that enjoys gaming. It is a brilliant strategy game with a very in-depth base building mechanic on the side.

Under $10 Pick

Bully: Scholarship Edition (-50% $7.49) – Yeah, I understand that a game based around going to a boarding school does not sound appealing. But Bully is an excellent game from the brilliant minds at Rockstar. It features a semi-open world that you can explore with Jimmy Hopkins, a 15-year-old kid sent to the fictional Bullworth Academy. It is loads of fun and we cannot recommend it enough.

FTL (-75% $2.49) FTL is an incredibly rougelike game where you take control of a federation ship, trying to deliver some special goods to put down the rebel fleet. It is only $2.49 with the Daily Deal, and once that ends it will go back up to $4.99 for the rest of the summer sale. Regardless of when you get it
