It is Friday, and there is no better way to spend the weekend than playing a new release, or continuing a game that you’ve been playing for a while. Either way, it is time for Weekend Gaming.

New Releases

There wasn’t much in terms of new releases this week, but I do have something awesome for you. Watch the introduction to Civilization V: Brave New World. I’ve been loving the new expansion, and this video.

DARK – I need to finish this game ASAP to write the review for it. Unfortunately it is not doing a great job of keeping my interest. There are a lot of frustrating things about the game that I will be discussing in my full review.

Civilization V: Brave New World – I imagine that I’ll be playing quite a bit of Civ V this weekend. Playing the new expansion has rekindled my love of Civ V, and now it is all I can think about.

NBA 2K13 – I picked this up when it was cheap the other day on the Steam summer sale, and I am loving every minute of it. The presentation in the game is incredible, and the gameplay is great. I love that it is a more realistic take on basketball, and doesn’t feel like an arcade game. Well, that is until Russell Westbrook does a windmill dunk while driving down the lane.

Kerbal Space Program – There is a rumor that the anticipated 0.21 update will be released this weekend, and if it does happen, you can imagine that I will be trying that out once it is released.

Football Manager 2013 – So, I happen to be a massive football fan (soccer) and since Football Manager 2013 went on sale for 10 bones on Steam this week, I had to buy it. It is one thing to play the games on the pitch which is fully great but managing a team can be equally fun – well, it is – and that’s why I will play the crap out of this management sim this weekend.
