Sega to purchase Atlus parent company for 140 MM

Sega Sammy Holdings, as it is called, announced that it will acquire Index Corporation which is the the parent company of Atlus known for publishing and developing many niche Japanese titles.

The announced acquisition is slated for 140 million Dollars in November – this is about ¥14 billion.

More on this news over at Polygon. Atlus is most known for its Persona and Shin Megami Tensei games among others.
