It is Friday, and there is no better way to spend the weekend than playing a new release, or continuing a game that you’ve been playing for a while. Either way, it is time for Weekend Gaming.
Arma III (PC) – Arma III has been in beta for some time now, but it is finished and the final game has been released to the masses. The game is the continuation of the popular military series that focuses more on realism than arcade-like gameplay. Bohemia Interactive want it to be realistic as possible, which led to the arrest of two developers scouting locations in Greece.
Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs (PC, Mac, Linux) – You know if you are the type that can handle Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs. It is the sequel to one of the scariest games ever released, and it doesn’t look like the tone has been changed in A Machine for Pigs. I think I am too chicken to try it out.
Brandon’s Weekend Gaming
Memoria – This is the latest point-and-click adventure game from Daedalic Entertainment, the team behind the great The Night of the Rabbit. I’m trying to get more into point-and-click games.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II Multiplayer – It is a free weekend for the multiplayer on Steam, and since I haven’t played Black Ops II yet, I wanted to hop in and give it a try. So far I am liking it.
GTA – I am almost finished with San Andreas and will most like finish IV this week as well. Since I won’t be able to play Grand Theft Auto V for a while, I think I may also try to beat III and Vice City in the coming weeks.
Andreas’ Weekend Gaming
FIFA 14 / PES 2014 Demos – I will be playing a lot of the FIFA 14 and PES 14 Demos to get myself acclimated with any changes for when the games proper hit the stores. Football is my passion on the pitch and off – so video games are a natural fit!
