We live in a gritty world where it’s life and death. We are in an era that is filled with missile strikes and gunship attacks. We have to do anything it takes to survive the battlefield that is littered with Military First Person Shooters.
Everything is about to change.
When PopCap first introduced the super charming Plants Vs Zombies, which we all put way to many hours into at this point, I remember not being able to put it down and telling all of my friends about it. To this day the games are part of my stable of iOS games. Last year at E3, EA did something we were all surprised by, they announced a Third Person Shooter based on the Plants Vs Zombie franchise that was being developed by PopCap, and on February 25th in North America and February 28th in the UK, the result of their work will be playable by all that own an Xbox 360, Xbox ONE or a PC.
The main objective of Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare is much the same as their tower defense counterparts but with a shooter twist of course, kill the zombies but with the added variation that you can also play as them and battle the plants. All of the plants and zombie characters have different special abilities like healers or heavy assault characters that need to work together to eliminate the opposition or complete objectives.
The art style of the game is about as charming as you would expect. The world has a cartoony vibe to it and the characters are uniquely designed to reflect their purpose on the battlefield. The game feature 24 player multiplayer matches with 10 unique modes to chose from and of course you can play 4 player coop with your buddies over Xbox LIVE.
