Squad, the developer behind Kerbal Space Program, has announced that the ARM mission pack is now available, and can be acquired automatically through Steam, or through the updated game if you download updates through their website.
The ARM is the Asteroid Redirect Mission. If that sounds familiar, that is because the mission pack is based off a future mission that NASA hopes to accomplish in the coming years. Squad and NASA collaborated together on this update.
This latest update to Kerbal Space Program adds asteroids that will come into the sphere of influence of Kerbin. It is up to you to build a spaceship using new parts to grab the asteroid and put it into orbit around Kerbin. Once in orbit, you can send other missions to the asteroid to perform science experiments and gain a lot of science points.
