Kalypso Media has passed along some Tropico 5 news to us which should excite some fans of the series.
The first big news is that anyone who pre-orders or buys the retail boxed edition of the game will receive the Special Edition version. It will include a “snazzy avatar costume” along with the Bayo del Olfato map for sandbox mode. You will also receive a Tropico passport and postcards in the boxed edition.
If digital is more your route, Tropico 5 is available to pre-order on Steam for 10% off, and you’ll get the Businessman avatar costume along with the Isla de Vapor sandbox map. There will be other pre-order bonuses depending on how many people pre-order the game.
In addition to the pre-order news, Kalypso has put out a new trailer for Tropico 5 that takes a look at the different eras that you’ll play through.
