Wargaming, the team behind the popular F2P tank battle game World of Tanks, will release version 9.0 of the game on April 17th.
The 9.0 update adds a new game mode called Historical Battles, where you’ll be able to recreate famous tank battles from history.
Along with the new game mode, World of Tanks will see a visual update throughout 2014, with the first visual upgrades coming in the 9.0 update. The American M4 Sherman, Soviet T-54, and German Tiger I are the first tanks to be updated to “high definition models and textures.”
The game will see an improvement to the physics and environment over the entire year.
