After Ubisoft had announced Assassin’s Creed Unity and also showed it off at E3 in a massive way today, we knew this was a next-gen only game and would not run on the PS3 or Xbox 360.
When Yves Guillemot was asked by Geoff Keighley about a version of the game for the last generation he noted: “We will not leave the PS3 guys with nothing, so you will hear about that” at a post-press conference interview on Spike after the publisher finished off a strong showing at this year’s E3.
We have yet to see what that means and when the game will be announced but this should confirm that an Assassin’s Creed game is still headed to PS3 at the very least but probably also to the Xbox 360.
Maybe we get another pirate game? I sure would like that.
