So you want to trade up your PS3 version of The Last of Us

Right, remember those awesome days of last year’s ‘give me 10 bucks and you can get the PS4/Xbox One version of your PS3/Xbox 360 version’ when the Next Gen consoles launched? Yup, those days are far gone but we still get titles like The Last of Us Remastered, Metro Redux and Tomb Raider with upgrades like visual fidelity, gameplay and more.

The problem is, we can’t upgrade our Last Gen versions anymore but there is (some) hope. GameStop will be taking you Last of Us PS3 disc – not available on PSN with your digital code – and then proceed to give you the Remastered version for half off. Sony had dropped the price of the PS4 version by 10 bones, so it is now ‘only’ $49 but that still seems steep if  you own the PS3 version.

If you head over to your local GameStop between July 27th and August 2nd, you can hand them your PS3 disc and pick up The Last of Us Remastered for 25 Dollars – that is a pretty good deal guys because the PS4 version comes with all of the DLC – Single and Multiplayer.
