Today Activision announced that it is bringing NBC’s hit show ‘The Voice’ to the PS3, Xbox 360, the Wii and the WiiU on October 21st. The game aims to “bring all the excitement of the hit TV show to your living room!”, says Activision in their initial press release.
This means players will be able to go through all of the shows elements from the Blind Auditions to the Battle Rounds and all the way to the Finale. The Voice is of course a karaoke style singing game.
The Voice will provide players with several options of playing including single and multiplayer. In Party Mode you can battle together or against seven of your friends singing chart-topping hits spanning Rock, R&B, Pop and Country genres. Singers can also practice real-world techniques in Voice Coach Mode like singing runs and harmonizing.
We won’t know what the game looks like in motion until a trailer is released but check out the first assets Activision released along with the reveal.
