These are our 10 Most Anticipated Games of 2015!

Welcome to  Twenty Fifteen

Right, another year another Top 10 List, sure it’s cliche but 2015 really deserves such collection of games in a single post because this year will (hopefully) satisfy our needs where 2014 just left us wishing just a little too much.

While our list mostly consists of announced games, we threw in a couple of hopefuls there, I am sure it won’t take you long to spot them.

Let’s get right to it, shall we? This list is in no particular order.

  1. No Man’s Sky

I almost don’t need to tell you anything about Hello Games’ open world GALAXY game, right? Pick up your millennium falcon-esuqe spacecraft, go warp speed and explore the endless world of this massive game.  We don’t even know the half of it yet, but simply looking at this game has us mesmerized.

No Man's Sky

It may be the last time we see Drake – I wouldn’t put any money on it though – when Uncharted 4 hits stores sometime in the end of 2015. Naughty Dog is an amazing studio and crafts gameplay and worlds that are second to none. Just look at their recent history with the Uncharted series and now The Last of Us. We can’t wait to become Nathan Drake in this ultimate adventure game. Have you seen that gameplay?!

When EA secured the rights to Star Wars and announced that a new Battlefront game would be coming out in 2015 a lot of our cumulative brains exploded. We can’t wait to play a Battlefield game in the world of Star Wars. I am not sure if there will even be a campaign, well – there probably will be – but the multiplayer alone will be worth your ticket.

Star Wars Battlefront

Remedy Entertainment created Max Payne and Alan Wake – two of our favorite video game series around. While we were disappointing that there was no proper Alan Wake 2 game to be had in 2015, the new IP Quantum Break where you manipulate time wrapped around an intriguing narrative coupled with an episodic TV show from the point of view of the villain – we were sold!

Quantum Break

Another fantastic franchise from a fantastic studio made our list. The Witcher 3: Wild  Hunt will finally release this year and CD Projekt RED is surely going to treat us to another epic adventure after the first 2 games quickly became cult classics. The Witcher 3 will be vast, it will be larger than life with a hero that has character and conviction. We will explore the world for more hours than we can imagine while fighting monsters and killing badies.

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt 4

Rocksteady has brought us Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City which revolutionized superhero games and finally made a franchise that is worth playing and inspired games like Shadow of Mordor to copy its combat mechanics. In the final entry into the Arkham Trilogy from  Rocksteady (Origins was made by another studio to give Rocksteady time to focus on the new game), we will see the conclusion to our hero’s story and just who this Arkham Knight is.

  • DiRT 4

This next one is a stretch guys – we know it – but we also love rally games, okay maybe that is just me. Codemasters has a top pedigree when it comes to creating all things racing: Formula 1, the GRID games (formerly TOCA) and of course the Colin McRae DiRT series, which is my personal favorite. I have been ready for a Next-Gen DiRT game since the consoles were announced and we may just get lucky this year. Even if not, I will put this game on the list every year… we have an idea what DiRT 4 should look like.

DiRT 3 Snow

Mel Gibson was my absolute hero after seeing the three Mad Max movies but especially Road Warrior, which is also a movie that inspired the makers of Just Cause to create an open world Mad Max game. Avalanche may be working on Just Cause 3, which looks epic, but I am more excited about driving around in a post apocalyptic desert where I battle barbarians for gasoline and my car. Oh, and the new movie looks cool, too.

  • Fallout 4

Another game that I have been waiting for since Fallout 3 came out, yes that was 2008, and I hope that SEVEN years later we can finally get a mainline sequel since Fallout New Vegas didn’t quite do the trick for me. Next-Gen is here and now and we want to play an open world Fallout game that is bigger, looks better and plays without being broken to hell. Heck even if it is broken, we want it and we want it now Bethesda!

  1. EVOLVE

Turtle Rock created Left 4 Dead – do I have your attention? The studio that made 4 player coop against a zombie horde and special infected so fun that we couldn’t stop playing it is bringing us a 4 V 1 coop / multiplayer game where 4 friends take on an ever growing monster in a dark and dangerous world. Evolve will be the game you boot up by yourself and play as the monster or get 4 friends together and take that sucker down! If Left 4 Dead is any indication, the character commentary will be hilarious,  too.

If that isn’t enough, don’t forget about some of our honorable mentions below.

The games that didn’t make the cut but we still want to play them pretty damn badly.

The Division, The Order 1886, Inside, Rainbow Six Siege, Dying Light, Saints Row IV Gat out of Hell, Just Cause 3, Life is Strange, Project CARS, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Halo 5, Metal Gear Solid 5 and Dead Island 2.
