Today Sega announced and released the third DLC for Alien: Isolation which adds a new timed survival mode where players have a single life to accomplish ten tasks in the time allotted, and of course mama alien will keep a watchful eye on you.
The mechanic works in a pretty cool way, if you die, you will be taken back to the last saved challenge but you will loose points on the leaderboards. If you want to, you can also trade in some of those points you earned towards saving your progress, it’s a trade off.
Just like the last DLC add on, you will play as another new character in Safe Haven with Hughes, Sevastopol’s communications manager. Also, Safe Haven introduces another new mode called Marathon which allows players to play Survivor Mode maps in the order of your choosing.
