It is Friday, and there is no better way to spend the weekend than playing a new release, or continuing a game that you’ve been playing for a while. Either way, it is time for Weekend Gaming.
New Releases
Saints Row: Gat out of Hell (PS4, PS3, Xbox One, X360, PC) – The Saints Row series continues with Gat and Kinzie going to Hell to rescue the Boss. Those that played Saints Row IV will be familiar with the gameplay, and this standalone expansion looks to satisfy the craziness that we have come to know as Saints Row.
Resident Evil HD Remaster (PS4, Xbox One, PC) – Resident Evil is back with another re-release of the original game. This updated version is the Gamecube re-release from 2002, with the game being updated to 1080p resolution. If you have never experienced the original Resident Evil game, this is the best way to experience it.
Andreas’ Weekend Gaming
After a long week and not being able to play last weekend I have more games to play than time as usual. I’m firmly planning on playing through episode one of Game of Thrones and start Dragon Age: Inquisition. Or just FIFA 15 again? Hm. Wish me luck!
Brandon’s Weekend Gaming
Now that things have settled down after the holidays, the goal is to catch up on games that I missed in 2014, with the first being Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. I haven’t played a Call of Duty game since the first Black Ops, and I believe this one is the best since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. I am also planning on beating Shovel Knight this weekend. My first few attempts at the last level have been rather poor, so we’ll see if that happens.
