It is Friday, and there is no better way to spend the weekend than playing a new release, or continuing a game that you’ve been playing for a while. Either way, it is time for Weekend Gaming.

New Releases

As per usual, the time around the holidays is a little dull when it comes to video game releases. Instead, check out the trailer for Online Heists in GTA V in case you missed it the first time the trailer was shown.

Hey guys, it’s 2015! and we are back in the game, quite literally, and are looking forward to playing more, writing more and enjoying this great industry more. So where does one begin if not a massive backlog of games, right? 2014 was maybe not AS great as 2013 but we had quite a year producing lots of great titles. Now, it’s up to me to open those plastic wrapped cases and catch up on some games I did not get to last year.

I will likely start with Dragon Age: Inquisition which was a Game of the Year contender for many this year and also a time suck – will I finish it? – who knows but even if I don’t, I want to see what BioWare cooked up and how it may affect the new Mass Effect game that we hopefully get to see. I will also play some more FIFA 15.

Why?

Because I always play more of that thing – I can’t help myself…

Happy New Year everyone! I’ve made it a point to finish more video games this year, and this weekend I plan on finishing Transistor. It looks like I am getting close to the end, so maybe another hour or so of gameplay and that will be the first game finished in 2015! After that is Shovel Knight and Wolfenstein: The New Order.
