Today EA Sports has lifted the veil on the much anticipated feature set of NHL 16, the next entry into the publishers ice hockey franchise that is so intensely followed and critiqued by its fans.
EA Sports says that the team has been the heart of hockey for as long as it’s existed, and this year it’s at the heart of NHL 16. The studio has looked to its biggest fans and asked them to be a part of their team. Their most requested features and modes are in the game now, says EA Sports and include new experiences that make NHL bigger and better.
On the ice, the team aspect carries through to the gameplay, with innovation and balance at every position, so that each role is meaningful to play. In NHL 16, success is a total team effort, the result of everyone understanding that you never do it alone.
