It’s Friday, and there is no better way to spend the weekend than playing a new release, or continuing a game that you’ve been playing for a while. Either way, it is time for Weekend Gaming.

New Releases

Rock Band 4 (PS4, Xbox One) – Did you think it was time to put the plastic instruments away? Well, you thought wrong! Harmonix is bringing rock and roll back to the living room with Rock Band 4. Just like the old games, you’ll feel like a rock star, playing a plastic instrument in your living room wearing nothing but underpants!

Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes (PC) – Well, this is going to be the next indie darling. Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes is a party game where one player has a bomb to defuse, and other players have a manual with instructions on how to defuse the bomb. The bomb “experts” must talk the player defusing the bomb through each step to keep the bomb from exploding. Check out the video below to see the game in action.

Andreas’ Weekend Gaming

This weekend was all about relaxing and enjoying the long Columbus Day holiday weekend. I am getting into some FIFA 16 and Destiny with my usual crew of friends – boy are those games time-sucks, right? I will finish out the weekend with more shooting of alien monsters!

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is still taking up quite a bit of my time. It is such a dense, enjoyable game. I’m sure I’ll also get into some FIFA Ultimate Team this weekend (I got promoted to league 8 this week!), and the Star Wars Battlefront beta!
