It’s Friday, and there is no better way to spend the weekend than playing a new release, or continuing a game that you’ve been playing for a while. Either way, it is time for Weekend Gaming.

New Releases

Quantum Break (PC, Xbox One) – Remedy is back with a third person shooter, but this time the time manipulation is built into the story. Featuring a cast of well known actors, plus a TV show between each act, has us itching to check out the game.

Enter the Gungeon (PC, PS4) – Take Binding of Issac and Nuclear Throne, and you’ve got Enter the Gungeon. The game has plenty of procedurally generated levels, tons of guns, and a deep challenge.

DiRT Rally (Xbox One, PS4) – The rally game from Codemasters that has been on PC for a while now is on consoles. Welcome console gamers!

Andreas’ Weekend Gaming

Now that Quantum Break is finally out and I can begin opening up some dimensional rifts on my own, I will rip open Remedy’s latest game and check out the campaign and TV series. I am also going to pop back into The Division to hopefully level up to 30 in order to check out the daily quests. I think the season pass will drop some new content soon also. Happy weekend!

Brandon’s Weekend Gaming

Hyper Light Drifter has held my attention over the past few days, although I don’t feel like I’m making any progress, so I’ll focus on making some actual progress this weekend. I may also dig into Enter the Gungeon, and touch on a few back catalog games, like Endless Legend and The Witness.
