Today, 2K and Gearbox Software have continued rolling out free post-launch content for Battleborn with the all-new hero, Pendles.
Pendles – the second of five free new heroes coming to Battleborn – is available early starting today on all platforms for Digital Deluxe owners and Season Pass holders through the in-game Marketplace with a hero key. He will be available for everyone else to unlock for free starting August 4. A cold-blooded killer, Pendles comes armed with poison, stealth, and an unhealthy inclination for murder. He enjoys sneaking up behind his prey, perforating them with dual kamas, then disappearing without leaving a trace. There are three more free DLC heroes in the works, including Earnest, the 28th Battleborn! Earnest lives by three ideals: Honor, duty, and explosions! Sporting a grenade launcher and a proficiency for tactful detonation, Ernest is a defensive mastermind with a strong devotion to protecting his allies, who joined up with the Peacekeepers to put his demolition prowess in service of the universe.
