Today Sony finally had their much anticipated PlayStation Meeting in which the company announced the previously leaked PS4 Slim, which will become the standard model at a price point of $299 and eventual HDR support (the details are still contested and developing on this) but more importantly – Sony also revealed the PS4 Pro.

The PS4 Pro is what was the codename Neo from the months and months of rumors and confirmed a few things. PS4 Pro has a crappy name (PS4+ would have been my choice) and will be more powerful than the PS4 Slim and Xbox One S, but less powerful than the proposed Xbox codename Scorpio.

The PS4 Pro will run 4K games and utilize HDR with upgraded CPU and GPU, which also results in the console being bigger than the Slim PS4 but both look quite nice, even if not as cool as the 2013 launch version on my shelve.

Many games will support the 4K HDR output such as Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare as well as Mass Effect Andromeda, Horizon: Zero Dawn and more. The console is to cost $399 and release on November 10th. Read more details here.
