Microsoft has announced at E3 that its ‘Project Scorpio’ console is really called Xbox One X and will cost $499 when it releases as the most powerful machine ever and fully 4K console experience this holiday. Microsoft has announced that all Xbox One and Xbox One S games will work on Xbox One X (yes, that is a lot of console names) and that Forza Horizon 3, Gears 4 and some other games will get a 4K upgrade for free. All games will benefit from the extra juice of the native 4K console such as better frame rates and faster loading times – that goes for the Xbox originals backwards compatibility also.

During the press briefing Microsoft showed off the brand new Porsche 911 GT2 RS as a world premiere alongside Forza 7, one of the games that will premiere true 4K gaming on Xbox One X.

Other games shown off included Bioware’s new title Anthem, a new Metro game, State of Decay 2, Crackdown 3, Cuphead, Sea of Thieves and a lot more. Check out the playlist below.
