That is correct. Mario our favorite plumber is not on top anymore. Super Mario Brothers that was bundled with the NES was the best selling game of all time.
Since 1983 alot has changed and now that the casual game market has exploded it looks like Wii Sports is now the top selling game ever. Wii Sports has toppled the little red and blue pipe perfectionist by a whopping 40.2 million units in just a matter of two years. Wii Sports is bundled with the Wii and is a good game but, I would take Classic Mario hands down everyday.
Well as we abid ado to Mario’s number one spot. Just remember he was the only old man you were aloud to play with as a kid. Some people will never forget that.
