Just received an email from Cryptic Studios saying that their free to play beta for Champions Online is going great. I know where you are saying “That’s boring news Ronnie, tell me something good.” Alright, I will! Cryptic will be releasing their full free for all version of Champions Online January 25, 2011. Only two weeks away!
Here’s a quick overview of what you can expect in 2011:
* Unlimited Play Time – Play as much as you like, as long as you like, at absolutely no cost. No subscription or credit card required.
* Your Own Hero, Your Own Story – Become a hero, encounter your Nemesis and advance to maximum level at no cost.
* Play Your Way – Utilize the optional web-based and in-game C-Store to purchase gameplay upgrades or additional premium content.
