The title above is kind of scary. It seems Sony just cant win. PSN password change system was taken down for a period of time today for this exploit. This exploit was letting people change a password with just a email address and a birth date.
Both of these items were compromised during the self rejected “anonymous” attack. The E-mails page was taken down immediately after the report of exploit. Which explains why numerous PSN users could not change there passwords. This has no affect on online play at this time. It would be far fetched if it did affect online play. onPause has contacted Sony for comment. We will let you know of any further developments.
