The sequel to the award-winning Anomaly Warzone Earth has been announced. Described as 11 bit studios most ambitious project yet, Anomaly 2 will “deliver a hardcore real-time strategy experience with exceptional tactical variety, intense multiplayer and remarkable visuals.” It will be released in the second quarter of 2013 for PC, Mac, and Linux for $14.99.
Anomaly 2 is a mixture between a real time strategy and tower defense game. It is set in the year 2018, and Earth has been invaded by alien machines. You control a group of humans scouring the Tundra for food and supplies as you fight off the alien invasion.
Anomaly 2 has a bunch of new features, including a multiplayer mode being described as tower offense vs. tower defense. Check out the reveal trailer below.
