Realistic hair physics are finally coming to video games. It has been announced that Crystal Dynamics will use the new AMD technology called TressFX in Tomb Raider to replicate realistic hair. Lara Croft will be the first female character to be given the TressFX treatment. This feature is limited to the PC version, and only to users who have an AMD Radeon video card featuring the Graphics Core Next architecture. Here are a few screenshots showing off Lara’s hair in the PC version. Tomb Raider will be released March 5th for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
