System Shock 2 Coming to Digital Distributors

Posted by: 2/13/2013

The cult-classic game System Shock 2 has been acquired by a group called Night Drive Studios, who plan to release the game on GOG.com at 6am Eastern Time for $10. It will also be coming to Steam, but a release date has not been confirmed.

System Shock 2 was one of Ken Levine’s first popular games that he was in charge of. If that name sounds familiar, he is the brains behind Bioshock, and Bioshock Infinite. System Shock 2 was originally released in 1999 on the PC. Fans of the game now have a chance to play through it again. Plus with it being on GOG.com, it will be optimized for current gaming machines. It will also be bundled with some additional content, including a new interview with Ken Levine.
