Sony has announced today that The Last of Us has been delayed until June 14th. Originally slated for a May 7th release, Sony and Naughty Dog have decided to move the release date back by five weeks.
The reason for the delay, as explained by Naughty Dog, is that the game needs a bit more extra polish. A five week delay doesn’t seem too bad for what will most likely be one great game for the PS3. For those that can’t wait until June 14th to play The Last of Us, God of War: Ascension will ship with a demo for The Last of Us on the disc.
