Spring is settling in across the country, meaning that the blinding sun is back, so it is better to just stay indoors. Sony is enticing gamers to stay inside by announcing the featured games for its upcoming Spring Fever promotion on the PlayStation Network.
Spring Fever will feature four independent games that will take advantage of Sony’s Cross-Buy functionality. Those who purchase the game on the PS3 will be able to download the game on a PSVita, and vice versa. The games featured are Guacamelee, Thomas Was Alone, Zombie Tycoon 2: Brainhov’s Revenge, and Dragon Fantasy Book I. PlayStation Plus members will receive 20% off the normal price, except for Zombie Tycoon 2, which is free for Plus members.
Along with focus on indie games, some of “gaming’s most popular franchises” will be on sale during the event. These will be weekly sales, and Sony has said that the Grand Theft Auto and Resident Evil series will see up to 65% off of games and add-ons for those series. The Spring Fever sale starts April 9 and will continue all the way through May 6 .
