Recently Square Enix had been teasing a new Deus Ex game would be announced soon. That announcement game this morning, and it took quite a few people by surprise. Instead of Deus Ex: The Fall being a PC and console sequel to the incredibly popular Deus Ex: Human Revolution, it was announced that The Fall will be coming to iOS devices.
Deus Ex: The Fall is set in the same time period as Human Revolution, but you play as Ben Saxon, a former British SAS Mercenary. The game will be about Saxon trying to figure out why he has been betrayed by The Tyrants. The game is a direct sequel to the book Deus Ex: Icarus Effect.
The game features a similar look to Human Revolution, and the HUD can be customized to suit any players’ preference. A short video accompanied the announcement of Deus Ex: The Fall, which shows off a little bit of gameplay. Check it out below.
