The fourth iteration of the popular empire building simulator Europa Universalis will be releasing on August 13th. It will be available for PC, Mac, and Linux. You can pre-order the game now, with the standard edition costing $39.99, and the Digital Extreme Edition carrying a price tag of $44.99.
Europa Universalis IV is being described as the most ambitious title in the series. You take control of a nation and try to build it up to be the most dominant empire on the planet. Gamers will be able to explore the world, engage in trade and war with other nations, and other diplomatic tactics to rise to the top. The game will feature a single player mode that will pit users against a ruthless AI, or if online play is your thing, there will be 32-player online matches.
