Mars War Logs was released in April, and many of those early buyers thought the English version of the game was not done well. Focus Home Interactive listened to the feed back, and will be releasing an update to the game today.
This update will include better dialogue that has been translated correctly from the native French version. Luc Heninger, director of production at Focus Home Interactive, said that the tight deadlines meant that the team couldn’t focus on English localization issues. He then went on to say, “we have re-written the game text and dialog and, of course, recorded the actors again, replacing the sections that weren’t true to the characters in Mars.”
To show off the improvements of the voice acting, Focus Home Interactive has released a video showcasing the first seven minutes of the game. This video features the new English voices in the game. Mars War Logs will be the Daily Deal on Steam today, with its price reduced by 33%.
