Piranha Games has released a new Hero Mech for all of you pyromaniacs out there that play MechWarrior. This latest Mech is a variation of the JagerMech. It is known as the Firebrand JM6-FB, and is an “absolute nightmare to face across open areas.” It has a combination of dual PPCs and dual AC/2s which gives it an advantage over other Mechs on the battlefield.
In addition to the Firebrand Mech, four new trial Mechs were added to the game. These are free for users to try out if they want to give another Mech a spin. There are many other features added or fixed for MechWarrior Online in the patch that was released today. You can see the full patch list here.
