Kalypso Media, the publisher behind the Tropico series, has announced a new game coming in 2014. Titled Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar, the game will put you in charge of Julius Caesar. Surprising, right?
Hegemony is being described as a real time strategy game that follows Caesar’s historical quest to control Europe. The game will feature a map that is more than a million square kilometers, giving you the ability to view Europe from the Mediterranean Sea all the way to Britannia.
In addition to the combat, you’ll be able to expand your empire across Europe, building forts and camps, promoting officers, and also hiring governors and improving your cities.
