EA Sports has announced that their upcoming UFC fighting game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will feature female fighters for the first time in UFC video game history.
Women’s Batamweight champion Ronda Rousey and top bantamweight contender Miesha Tate will be the two female fighters that will be playable in the game. +
“In our commitment to delivering the most realistic fighting experience ever achieved, we wanted to represent the full spectrum of talent and diversity of all the fighters in the sport, including women who have become an undeniable force to be reckoned with,” Dead Richards, general manager of EA Sports UFC said.
EA Sports UFC is set to release in spring of 2014.
