The popular free-to-play game MechWarrior Online will be reaching version 1.0 on September 17. To prepare for the full launch of the game, Piranha Games and Infinite Games Publishing have updated “Project Phoenix” with the “Saber Package.”
Project Phoenix is a pre-order program for MechWarrior Online. For an extra $30, players can upgrade to the Saber Package in Project Phoenix, which will yield two new mechs, an increase in C-Bill earnings, special edition camo, and other perks.
A tutorial has also been added to the game, giving new users the ability to learn the game before jumping into combat.
The Protector Hero Mech has also been added in the newest update, and you can see a video of it in action below.
