These NBA athletes helped make NBA Live 14

Capturing the feeling of real life sports in a video game can be challenging. This is why many studios will use motion capture to record accurate movement of real life athletes.

EA Sports has released a list of six rising NBA athletes who helped with development of NBA Live 14. Leading the list is cover athlete Kyrie Irving of the Cleveland Cavaliers followed by Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers), Ricky Rubio (Minnesota Timberwolves), John Wall (Washington Wizards), Kemba Walker (Charlotte Bobcats) and Victor Oladipo (Orlando Magic).

These six athletes have helped with development by being motion captured, having their faces scanned for accurate looks, facial performance sessions, and being consultants to get the correct feel of the NBA.

NBA Live 14 is set to release on November 19th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only. Sorry current gen owners, you’ll have to make the jump to next gen to play.
