The NBA Live series is making a grand comeback with NBA Live 14, only on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. EA Sports has announced that the Ultimate Team mode, found in other EA Sports titles, will be making an appearance in NBA Live 14.
Like other games with Ultimate Team, the mode allows you to build your dream NBA team by buying players with coins earned through playing games. You will be able to play your Ultimate Team against other NBA teams with updated stats throughout the season, or play other Ultimate Team players. More information can be found here. It does sound like the first iteration will be very basic, but expect it to expand over time.
