The Iranian Revolution is one of the most important events ever in the Middle East, and Navid Khonsari wants to tell the story of the revolution through a video game. Titled 1979 Revolution, the game will be set in Tehran. You will be able to witness protests, sneak past guards, and take part in mini-games that are lifted from real events from the revolution.
Khonsari is from Iran, and lived through the revolution. Because of his involvement with this game, he has been branded a spy in Iran, which has barred him from visiting his homeland. But he says that doesn’t matter. He wants this story to be told.
