Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar is one of the latest games on the ever growing Steam Early Access program.
Developed by Longbow Games, it is a sequel to the historical strategy game Hegemony Gold: Wars of Ancient Greece. As you can imagine from the titles, the sequel will be set in ancient Rome with the player controlling Julius Caesar and his quest to build the Roman Empire.

The game is being published by Kasedo Games; the ‘digital first’ of Kalypso Media. The Kasedo division is focused on publishing games in the mid-price range, and they will primarily be digital only. Hegemony Rome will be the first game published by Kasedo Games.
